When I started Clara's program I wanted to lose weight, eat healthier, and make overall lifestyles changes. I got so much more! I lost 12 pounds, went down one and a half sizes in my clothes, and I felt better OVERALL! Clara asked me questions that I should have been asking myself and really made me think about my overall health and fitness. I was focused on just losing weight. She made me realize I needed to make changes about my sleeping and watching tv habits and my lifestyle. I always have considered myself healthy and fit. Even though I have done two Ironmans, I still needed help making small adjustments that had huge gains.. thanks to Clara's coaching. My experience and self growth with Clara has really changed from when I started with her a short while ago. "I first heard about Clara from a coworker. However, Clara didn't pursue me, but rather I sought her out after hearing my coworker talk about all of these "crazy" new foods she was implementing upon Clara's recommendation including bone broth, liver pills, and all sorts of fermented foods. I've always been athletic and for the past two years I have rediscovered that passion through a commitment to Crossfit and I reached a point where I was plateau-ing and I knew my diet was the limiting factor. Hearing all about the work Clara was doing with my friend grabbed my attention and I knew I wanted a diet consultation. Clara and I exchanged several emails, she answered some of my initial questions and then sent me a diet log and questionnaire. Trying new things is all well and good, but what really matters is how they make you feel and I feel better than ever. The new foods and the new variety has led to a decrease in acne, better gut health, improved sleep and a better resilience for the nights when I don't get much sleep, plus my body has been performing better at the gym and each meal leaves me feeling energized, satisfied and satiated. I've long known how important diet is to overall health and well-being and, despite having a solid diet and a decent understanding of health, I'm incredibly grateful that I went to see Clara and took my nutrition to the next level. "I met Clara through my gym and heard that she produced great results so I decided to have a consult with her. I had been eating Paleo for about 2 years, I work nights and my body was having a hard time regulating my hormones, sleep cycles and just regular function. I met with Clara and after giving her some initial information including a food journal she came up with a 30 day protocol. In the 30 days, I was sleeping better, my normal body functions were starting to restore themselves and I had also lost weight. It was a very maintainable protocol and I have continued to stay on it. I have done the Whole 30 and other cleanses but none of them were maintainable without going crazy! I learned a lot in the process of my protocol and Clara was always available to give guidance. As a Health Coach, Clara has found her calling. Clara is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to healthy eating and what nourishes our bodies. One of her goals is to help her clients decode what their body is telling them. Clara helps each of her clients decide what will be best for THEM and will help them be the most successful. I realized gluten was affecting me in multiple ways. Causing my nose to be really stuffy, noticeably more so than when I don’t consume gluten. I didn’t even know my stuffy nose could be attributed to my diet! The frequent bloating and lower abdominal pain I experienced on a regular basis, two of my major concerns besides my weight, also improved.
