Hormonal Balance 101



Our monthly cycles are not an annoyance or a weakness.

They are an invitation to tap in, tune in, + turn on our inner powers of creation + rebirth.

Each phase of our cycle is an opportunity to utilize another facet of our personality. I use essential oils as a tool to support my body through each phase of my cycle.

Our period (bleeding), the “winter” of our monthly cycle, is a phase of introspection, rest, recuperation, + deep wisdom. This is a great time to journal, take lots of alone time, +love on your body. Say no to social engagements and deadlines.

Our follicular phase, the “spring” of our monthly cycle, its a phase of outgoing, social interaction, positive mood, +high metabolism. This is a great time to interact with friends +commit to social engagements. You’re great at coming up with lots of new ideas & brainstorm new solutions to long standing problems.

Our ovulatory phase, the “summer” of our monthly cycle, is a phase of “getting things done,” Our skin glows, appetite increases, + energy levels off. It’s an awesome time to be in action-mode with projects & work on the detail oriented.

Our luteal phase, or the “fall” of our monthly cycle, is a phase where we get very sensitive, no-nonsense, + a great time to have any necessary confrontational conversations.
