Therapists

I tend to believe somatic and parts work type therapy to be the most useful, but everyone is different and may need different things at different points on their journey. The therapists I recommend are only people I have worked with extensively myself and can vouch for their mastery, medicine, and that they all have a very holistic view of the body, mind, and soul.

Coly Vulpiani - Parallel Realities Practice

Coly@parallelrealitiespractice.com

Coly is a Jungian Voice Dialogue facilitator. He is especially good at helping you get to know yourself in new and profound way. He tends toward the Mystical Christian tradition when it comes to spirituality, in the vein of A Course in Miracles, The Way of Mastery, Thomas Merton, and others. He was trained and worked extensively with the creators of Voice Dialogue, Hal and Sidra Stone. The Shadow King by Sidra Stone and Embracing Ourselves by Hal and Sidra Stone are great books to check out if you’re interested in digging into this modality and background. Coly also carries a strong background of Zen Buddhism.

*I recommend Coly if you resonate with Voice Dialouge and want to understand and your motivations better.

Rachel Hilliard - Rachel Hilliard Psychotherapy

rachel@rachelhilliardpsychotherapy.com

Rachel is a more traditional talk-therapist, but holds a depth of inner capacity/embodiment that is rare. She holds a strong space to discover your personal journey’s perfection, not in some high, out-of-reach and lofty way, but in a way that acknowledges wholeness as perfection.

*I recommend Rachel if you just feel like you need someone to talk out what feels jumbled and confusing in your journey.

Sil Read - Soul Making School

sil@silread.com

Sil is a student of the renowned psychoanalyst and holder of the true Feminine pole, Marion Woodman. She is so skilled at helping women to find meaning from their lives. She is also just such a beautiful holder and her approach is so gentle and mothering.

*I recommend Sil if you resonate with Marion Woodmas’s work and/or need remothering and mirroring that is gentle and loving.

Jenny Glick- https://jennyglick.com/

Jenny really helped me through the darkest time in my marriage. My marriage is one of the things I am most proud of in my life and Jenny was a huge catalyst for doing the work that put Sean and I on the path we currently walk.

*I recommend Jenny if your marriage or partnership seems to be one of the main issues in your journey that needs tending.

Body Work

I have found that there a few modalities that overall really support the process of Mineral Nutritional Balancing.

  1. Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapy - I recommend this for pain, headaches, nervous system dysregulation, and supporting the body to shift into new ways of utilizing energy and potential energy.

  2. Acupuncture (specifically 5 element acupuncture, which is a little different from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) acupuncture) - I recommend this alongside the Mineral Nutritional Balancing, lifestyle, and dietary changes. Acupuncture treatments can really allow anything that is still stagnant to flow and rebalance the body as mineral ratios shift.

  3. Myofascial Release (MFR) - I recommend this for pain and stuck movement patterns. You can also learn to do this on yourself. I love Lindsay Courcelle’s work for this.

*All of these types of body work are very gentle and really work with the whole system to release and open the body and nervous system. There are so many types of body work. All of it can be good. I do warn against anything that is super forceful or aggressive (think deep tissue massage and popping chiropractor work), although there may be times when this is appropriate too. So much of good body work is your relationship with the practitioner. Finding someone that can get to know your body and work on you regularly can feel so deeply supportive on your healing journey.

Physical Movement

Adina Rubin - Strength Training for Healthy Hormones is a great kettlebell program that really is designed for women and keeping their hormones balanced and happy, while still gaining muscle and strength.

Train 2 Change - Strength training that is really focused on doing the least amount possible with the greatest results. Also much more affordable.

Primal Movement- movement that really corrects movement patterns and allows you to work on mobility and feeling good in your body at the same time.

Move Like Human Membership with Tim Matz- similar to primal movement, but a great membership to really explore functional movement.
