Blaire Lindsay
is a somatic practitioner, movement teacher, and erotic educator weaving therapeutic movement, eros and depth psychology. Blaire believes birth to be an opportunity for sacred initiation. She gave birth to her son at home after a 25hour labor with the support of a midwife and doula.
Dr. Ryan Simmons
is a Pelvic Physical Therapist and Women’s Health Educator. She is proudly middle-aged and in the peri-menopause transition. Ryan believes in body sovereignty and also feels that the beauty standards and socialized pressures on women today are pushing many to make hasty and costly health decisions. She has heard “I am doing this for me” and “It’s my body, my choice”and, while she can relate to these sentiments, is certain that we do not live in a vacuum and that whatever is driving the push toward the medicalized body has a lot to do with the patriarchal beliefs of the collective unconscious.
Clara Wisner
is a Bioenergetic Nutritionist who has worked with women and their bodies for over a decade. Clara is a believer in the power of true embodiment. She teaches that the body is the Soul’s communication device. The Soul and Body are one; matter imbued with spirit. The Medicalized Body is in direct opposition to Life itself. When our bodies are de-spiritualized and de-Souled to the point where we can slice and inject them for reasons of aesthetics, there is a tragic loss of reverence for the body and the feminine.
